As HJ sais, drinking 3-4 liters of water each day is the most important aspect for women who need to lose at least 30 pounds. In fact, HJ recommends that for the women who also exercised every day, and do cardio during their workouts, to drink even more than 4 liters of water so that they will avoid dehydration.
There were many studies done about what can women who want to lose over 60 pounds do if they want to lose weight. So, they analized all the women that have successfully managed to lose a lot of weight. The conclusion of the studies is simple. There is no woman who has managed to lose weight without hiving drunk lots of water, and also the women who were trying to lose weight, but did not drink at least 2-3 liters of water each day, had real difficulties dropping pounds, in fact most of them could not even lose a pound per week, even if they exercised daily and were eating the right way, while the one who were drinking lots of water were even losing 5 to 10 pounds per week easily.
So, water is really important in weight loss, so for the women who want to start losing weight, this is the first step. As HJ recommends, women should have a lot of water prepared with lemon juice and they should cary water with them in plastic containers all the time, so that they do not forget that they should drink water.
A lot of women even confuse hunger with thirst, so instead of drinking a big glass of water, they go ahead and eat a meal with lots of calories. So the second thing HJ recommends is that if women feel they are hungry, before going to eat, they should drink a big glass of water with fresh squeezed lemon juice. Of corse HJ also recommends that for weight loss women should eat 6-7 meals every day, each one around 150-200 calories, and drink water in between these meals.
